With some time to kill whilst waiting for visa paperwork to come through, we took ourselves back off to Chincha
to visit some friends and see with our own eyes the shape of the housing project we'd been involved with previously

The show house looked promising from the outside, but inside it was clear that it was not yet finished

This was much more the case with the other houses we visited,
which are still lacking doors, windows, bathrooms, electric connections and so forth.

While some of the families are unhappy at the long delays
(and we had to conclude we were glad to be out of it!),
at least they have something solid.
