Wanting to add a bit of interest and a personal touch to some of Paul's photos, Rachel put on her creative hat and came up with the idea of scrapbooking some of his images.
This involves using paper, card, fabric and pretty much anything you can think of to link photos together with a theme and present them.

To date, Rachel has only managed one scrapbook page (see below),
mainly because she's been required to turn her creative attention elsewhere.
With Paul's side of the family in particular going through a baby boom at the moment,
she's had to get quite a production line of homemade cards going!!

Rachel Says: "Along with the majority of his extended family, we went to Paul's parents' house at the end of July for a garden party to celebrate his grandma's birthday. Paul was busy with his camera throughout the day and when we looked at the images later, there were some good ones of Ben, the young son of Paul's cousins, Rachel and Mick. So, I decided to try and make a scrap book page using the photos to give to them.

With tennis having been a feature of the day
and with some action shots of Ben having a go,
it seemed an appropriate theme on which to base the page, even though the cutest photo of Ben
was of him meeting the donkey from next door.
I decided to have this as the central image
and then use smaller images around it ,
which concentrated on a ball theme and
were linked together by the
suggestion of a bouncing tennis ball
which could also double up as a
time and place reminder. I then completed
the design by emphasising the tennis theme with
a hand-drawn net across the centre of the page".
